To teach kids yoga professionally, you need good training, a background check to work with kids and professional liability insurance. Schools and private venues in most countries will ask you for an insurance certificate in case someone hurts themselves while under your care. All 1000+ graduates of our training have been able to get insurance with our certification.
Please note: you do not need Yoga Alliance accreditation to teach kids yoga professionally. This is not a legal requirement anywhere in the world.
Professional liability insurance costs around US$100/£130 a year. In our years of working in kids yoga, we’ve never heard of anyone making a claim against their professional liability insurance but most schools and venues will expect you to have it.
